Protect California Wilderness and Rivers!

Sign a petition supporting protection of our wild places and rivers!

From magnificent coasts and cathedral forests to beautiful rivers and stunning deserts, California's wild places provide clean drinking water, homes for plants and animals, and tourism dollars for our economy.

But, according to a recent survey of California's wild lands, 675,000 acres - nearly the size of Yosemite National Park - have been lost over the last 20 years to logging, mining, and road building. And, only one percent of California's rivers are protected from dam building and other destructive activities. It is time to protect these special places before it's too late - and you can help!
